Unisphere
The unisphere is still standing from the 1964-5 World's Fair in Queens, New York. The New York Pavilion also from the fair (Men in Black) towers in the background.

This statue called Rocket Thrower by Donald De Lue is from the 1964-5 World's Fair. When it was first displayed, it received bad reviews, in particular from a New York Times reviewer.
