These towers which were the New York Pavilion at the 1964-5 World's Fair were made even more famous in the movie blockbuster Men in Black.




Unisphere

The unisphere is still standing from the 1964-5 World's Fair in Queens, New York. The New York Pavilion also from the fair (Men in Black) towers in the background.




Rocket Thrower

This statue called Rocket Thrower by Donald De Lue is from the 1964-5 World's Fair. When it was first displayed, it received bad reviews, in particular from a New York Times reviewer.
