This dramatic sculpture by artist Anna Vaughn Hyatt Huntington, is located in Central Park on Manhattan Island in New York City. The sculpture, donated by the artist, depicts the mortal wounding of a Latin American hero, patriot Jose Julian Marti, as he was fighting for the liberation of Cuba from Spanish rule.*
